Eminent College of Management and Technology, Kolkata, West Bengal is now a Recognized Swachhta Action Plan Institution. The Institution has successfully formed the Swachhta Action Plan Committee and constituted the working groups Post COVID-19 for Sanitation & Hygiene, Waste Management, Water Management, Energy Management and Greenery along with the observation of two environment related days to inculcate in faculty, students and community, the practices of Swachhta and Reduction, Reuse and Recycling of Resources.

Sports in colleges have been become an integral part of the academic curriculum. Sports are just as important as classes and should receive equal importance because sports help in the mental and physical development of an individual it teaches the person to understand what teamwork is all about and how to celebrate victory and accept, react and learn from defeats. It increases self-esteem, confidence, and mental alertness and seeing college students participate in Annual sports events and create an atmosphere, so overwhelming and full of satisfying output. Sports definitely play a significant role in overall development of our personality.
Entering college is like starting a new life which shapes a person's outlook for many years to come. On this joyful note the 2nd year students of ECPT and ECMT arranged a fresher’s welcome ceremony on 27/01/2018.The cultural programme started with the welcome speech of the chairman in which he raised a toast to all the new faces in the college.On this cultural day full with fun and frolic, panel of judges adjudge Mr. and Miss Fresher. In this get together party all the students got acquainted with each other.

Eminent College of Management & Technology, in collaboration with SDIMT (Skill Development Institute of Management & Technology) organised a two-days longed workshop,(20/04/2017-21/04/2017) on "Basics of Computer Application" . The workshop was attended by students of nearby schools at completely free of cost.
The workshop was led by our eminent faculty members who put their heart and soul to enhance the knowledge of the students and make this event a grand success. Along with Basics of Computer students also got to attend a special session on Personality Development which is surely going to help them in their future.
The first day of the Workshop started with a Motivational session with guidance of Personality Development and it consisted knowledge on MS-WORD,Using Mail-Merge, Working With Forms, Automation and Customisation and Protecting Documents.
The second day of the Workshop also started with personality development session and next students got to learn MS-excel, Optimisation of Data and MS-PowerPoint. After that all the students who attended the seminar successfully,were given the certificates.
