Entering college is like starting a new life which shapes a person's outlook for many years to come. On this joyful note the 2nd year students of ECPT and ECMT arranged a fresher’s welcome ceremony on 27/01/2018.The cultural programme started with the welcome speech of the chairman in which he raised a toast to all the new faces in the college.On this cultural day full with fun and frolic, panel of judges adjudge Mr. and Miss Fresher. In this get together party all the students got acquainted with each other.
Eminent College of Management & Technology, in collaboration with SDIMT (Skill Development Institute of Management & Technology) organised a two-days longed workshop,(20/04/2017-21/04/2017) on "Basics of Computer Application" . The workshop was attended by students of nearby schools at completely free of cost.
The workshop was led by our eminent faculty members who put their heart and soul to enhance the knowledge of the students and make this event a grand success. Along with Basics of Computer students also got to attend a special session on Personality Development which is surely going to help them in their future.
The first day of the Workshop started with a Motivational session with guidance of Personality Development and it consisted knowledge on MS-WORD,Using Mail-Merge, Working With Forms, Automation and Customisation and Protecting Documents.
The second day of the Workshop also started with personality development session and next students got to learn MS-excel, Optimisation of Data and MS-PowerPoint. After that all the students who attended the seminar successfully,were given the certificates.

Eminent College of Management & Technology organised a seminar on Ethical Hacking on 7th April, 2017 at college campus. The seminar was presented by Mr. Sandeep Sengupta, Director of Indian School of Ethical Hacking, with years of experience of working in IT/Cyber Security for India,New Zealand and Singapore. He has also worked as Lead Auditor and Tutor in British Standard (accredited by IRCA). He has been chosen several times as the speaker in International Conferences like CeBIT International Conference, FICCI, ISACA, STPI. He has also organised workshop at US Consulate (Kolkata), Trained Kolkata Police (Anti-Cyber-crime Cell), BSNL (Kolkata).
The seminar was attended by all the faculty members and college students. Students of nearby schools also joined the seminars. Mr. Sengupta discussed how we are vulnerable regarding Internet Security and how we can protect ourselves. He also discussed how it has been aimed to transform the internet security industry by infusing professionalism and a never before seen efficiency.
Eminent College of Management and Technology organised a seminar on "Current Trends in HR and Role of An Individual", on 8th April,2017. This seminar was presented by Mr. Rajdeep Mukherjee, HR Manager , Bandhan Group. Mr. Mukherjee has 18 years of working as HR and he has been associated with renowned companies like Braithwaite & Co. Ltd., Bengal Structural Corporation etc.. He also has experience of working with Genex Management and IT College, Ibrad School of Management etc.. He has been an expert in ensuring prompt resolution of all employee grievances to maintain cordial relation between management and the employee.
This seminar was attended by all the faculty members and the students of the college. Mr. Mukherjee enlightened the listeners by describing the current trends on HR and also describe the importance of Human Resource Management to generate the resource in an organisation. Mr.Mukherjee also provided valuable guidance to the students to be a HR professional in their future.
